 OUR HISTORY: Maury Magic Riders, Inc. was organized in February of 1998 and incorporated in June of 2000. We have been holding sessions since 1999. The program was housed at a private residence until it was moved to its current loaction in April of 2003. It is on Lofton Road, on a beautiful 26 acre tract of land that is remote, scenic, and quiet, yet centrally located in Maury County. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to lease this land which was previously TVA land returned to the county in 2002. Since then we have improved the property to include, a trailer for a care taker, three open pastures, three dry-lots, a three sided barn for the horses and hay storage, a tack room, an arena, and a shed for the tractor and other equipment. Presently, the organization owns 4 horses, and we are currently looking to add a pony to use for the "hippotherapy" program. |
